Nearly 875,000 homes, farms and businesses count on their rural electric cooperatives to deliver electricity 24/7. And they do with power from Associated Electric, the wholesale power supplier to six regional generation and transmission cooperatives (G&Ts) that serve 51 local electric cooperatives in Missouri, southeast Iowa and northeast Oklahoma.

We're owned by six generation and transmission cooperatives (G&Ts) that formed Associated in 1961 to provide wholesale power supply. Our Locations

As Missouri’s third largest utility, Associated Electric is proud to offer career opportunities at several locations across Missouri. Associated Electric operates its Headquarters in Springfield, Missouri and has two additional locations across the state. Our Thomas Hill Energy Center is located on the 5,000-acre wildlife refuge in north-central Missouri. The New Madrid Power Plant is located in the southeastern part of the state, alongside the Mississippi River.
